OREOS® 1.0 was developed by BURGEAP with the scientific support of Institut de Mécanique des Fluides de Toulouse (CNRS/INPT/UPS). The software design was part of a Research and Development project co-financed by ADEME (the French Environment and Energy Management Agency) through the INNOV’R® program.

Structured into four business departments (Cities and Territories, Industrial Environment, Green Building, Energy & Climate, Nuclear Decommissioning & Conventional Deconstruction) the firm offers more than a hundred engineering products. BURGEAP also has a Research & Development Department to develop measurement and calculation tools / methodologies within co-financed applied research projects www.burgeap.fr

IMFT

The “Institut de Mécanique des Fluides de Toulouse“ (IMFT) is a joint research laboratory between the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (INPT) and the Paul Sabatier University (Toulouse 3). IMFT gathers about 200 people, including 65 academics, 35 engineers, technicians and administrative staff, 80 PhD students and 20 postdoctoral associates. It represents one of the major concentrations in France and even in Europe in terms of research and advanced training in fluid dynamics, both by its size and by the wide spectrum of scientific topics and applicative fields it addresses. Located in the heart of Toulouse on an island in the middle of the Garonne river, the laboratory develops a broad range of research activities covering fundamental aspects related to the physics of flows, as well as numerous engineering applications. www.imft.fr

Ademe

The French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) is active in the implementation of public policy in the areas of the environment, energy and sustainable development. The Agency provides expertise and advisory services to businesses, local authorities and communities, government bodies and the public at large, to enable them to establish and consolidate their environmental action. As part of this work, ADEME helps finance projects, from research to implementation, in the areas of waste management, soil conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy, air quality and noise abatement.

ADEME is a public agency under the joint authority of the Ministry for Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, and the Ministry for Higher Education and Research. www.ademe.fr

InnovR

With the support of AFNOR, ARDI and INPI, Rhône-Alpes Regional Council, OSEO and the Caisse des Dépôts launched INNOV’R, a unique grant program in the Rhône-Alpes region. INNOV’R is dedicated to the financial support of eco-innovations by the region’s companies. It also operates as a permanent call for proposals to encourage concrete solutions to environmental issues, as a contribution to sustainable regional development and competitiveness. eco-innovations.rhonealpes.fr
